Meteor Shower-Technique Professor Research Assignment

Chris Gooley, Tim Cailloux, Sarah Riley, and I drove out to west geogia to try and get some pictures of the meteor shower. Unfortuneatly we didn't see very many, but we had a few decent shots of star trails. The others are just some shots for the technique.

The field across the dirt road from where we were taking pictures.  It's pretty much pitch black outside. This was about a 10 minute exposure. One of the mounts on the 10 meter dish on the roof of the Van Leer buidling. the most successful star trail.  The difference in brightness of the each trail is due to clouds moving into and out of the area.
